I no longer have the chickenpox virus, so I'm not itchy anymore. I don't have a fever. I'm, I'm free of the chickenpox virus. However, obviously, while I was convalescing, I was trying to find out everything and anything I could about chickenpox. I couldn't find... No one really understands the etymology or why it's called chickenpox. I'd assumed, oh, this jumped from chickens to humans. Nothing to do with that. There's no definitive answer as to why it's called chickenpox. One theory is because it's a pox. There were much more serious poxes, like cowpox or, or smallpox, like really serious diseases. So when-- if you got chickenpox, it was like the less serious one, just a little chickenpox. Or another theory is that the bumps look like chickpeas.
