[upbeat music] This is the Beema podcast with Marty Solomon. I'm his co-host, Brent Billings. Today, we are looking at the second of Beema's four pillars, the commitment to an experience of community.

  2. Marty Solomon· Host0:20

Community, baby. It's the second of four.

  3. Brent Billings· Co-host0:23

And Marty, I didn't ask you about this before, so I'll just ask you right here on the show, but it seems like there is an order that you put the pillars in that I have not always done, because I typically st- [chuckles] I can, for whatever reason, whenever I start to list them, I can remember three of the four, and I have to struggle to get the fourth one. So my order ends up being all over the map, just depending on which one I happen to forget that time. [laughing] But it seems like you have an order to these. So what is the order about?

  4. Marty Solomon· Host0:50

Yeah. And I do have an order to the four pillars. It's more personal than anything else. I think if you were to put these in a vacuum or whatever, they're not necessarily linear. There's not a particular order. But I do think for each of us, as individuals, they may end up needing to be shuffled in a particular order. For me, I always list them in the same order, and it's helpful for me. For me, I go text, community, discipleship, wrestling every time. And for me, that's important because I've got to start with the text. I just believe in the Bible too much, and I'm okay
