I also use the Wahoo Kickr Run to train for my marathon in Valencia, and Mark actually used it to simulate parts of the London Marathon course by uploading the GPX file, so that he can follow the exact ups and downs of the profile of the course. So it'll automatically adjust for you, and actually feels like running on asphalt or hard packed trail, so it does really simulate running outside.
