So, so Digger grew up in Manhattan Beach.

From Manhattan.

Played beach player at Manhattan Beach, came down to lovely San Diego State University, my alma mater, played on the team there.

And then started teaching at Hoover High School, and that's where he hired me back in 1981.

So he coached at Hoover High, then he went to Grossmont College and coached the women there.

Then he went and coached the men at UCSD, and I assisted him there for a couple years.
