With Great Power Comes Great Season 2-Ability!

7/6/20261 hr 29 min

The boys theorize about Spiderman Brand New Day (as always) and briefly talk X-Men 97 season 2. They also complain about the present day MCU timeline and decide what film is to blame for that.

In this episode the boys also review season 2 of the Netflix Live Action Avatar the Last Airbender series in full. We're not going to lie to you... It's brutal. The boys pull no punches.

  3. Andrew Parker· Host0:21

As always, with great power comes great season two ability.

  4. Alex Azor· Host0:24

    That's right.

  5. Andrew Parker· Host0:24

    We've got season two of X-Men '97.

  6. Alex Azor· Host0:26

    Yes.

  7. Andrew Parker· Host0:27

And we've got season two of Netflix's live action Avatar: The Last Airbender.

  8. Alex Azor· Host0:30

We're a little bit late on that one, but it's okay. Better late than never.

  9. Andrew Parker· Host0:33

Yeah, we're here. We're here. We talked about X-Men '97 fully on the Patreon. We'll talk about it a little bit here.

  10. Alex Azor· Host0:37

    Yes.

  11. Andrew Parker· Host0:38

Um, and we'll talk about what we normally do with- with TV shows is at the end of the season, we'll talk about the whole thing. But if we have the desire to do a week by week or episode by episode, sometimes we'll j- we'll- we'll do that on the Patreon.

  12. Alex Azor· Host0:47

    Yes.

  13. Andrew Parker· Host0:48

So we went through, like, all three episodes over there. We also just did a Spider-Man fight scene bracket over there- Yeah, that was interesting ... from all the movies. That was, that was a lot of fun.

  14. Alex Azor· Host0:55

Our question to you, is the Spider-Man Two train sequence as iconic as my co-host makes it seem?

  15. Andrew Parker· Host1:02

We did not agree on the finals. It was very interesting.

  16. Alex Azor· Host1:05

    We did not.

  17. Andrew Parker· Host1:05

But I wasn't mad with either outcome, to be honest.

  18. Alex Azor· Host1:07

No, there are some great Spider-Man fight scenes in the 10 movies we have so far. Very excited for that 11th one, ladies and gentlemen.

  19. Andrew Parker· Host1:15

Yes, I said this- We are less than a month out, guys.

  20. Alex Azor· Host1:17

    Brand-new day.

  21. Andrew Parker· Host1:18

I, I'm like- Every day I wake up, it's a brand-new day ... e- every, every day. Every single freaking day. I, you know, all- all year it's been like, "Oh yeah, there's gonna be a Spider-Man movie. It's this year. It's exciting. It's in the future." But like- First one since No Way Home ... but like- Mm-hmm.
