[upbeat music] Hello, everybody. It's Jess here. If you are new to the podcast, 'cause I feel like we have so many new listeners lately, just wanted to introduce myself. I'm a registered psychotherapist from Ontario, Canada, and I talk about all things related to child development, kids' mental health, parenting little kids, and I have been obsessed with this topic for far over a decade. And typically, this podcast is run with my husband, Scott, who is an engineer and very logical, and also we're parents of three young children. But Scott was unable to make it to this episode today, and we're gonna miss him of course. But we're still gonna have a really great conversation even without his skeptical and humorous sometimes comments. And not to worry, Scott's okay [laughs]. He's gonna be back. He's just taking a few weeks off the podcast. So he will be back, and we can hear from him again. But in the meantime, you have me, and I'm so excited to be here with you today and talk about a topic that actually
