Why does salty food make you thirsty? [upbeat music] Hi, welcome to Curious Kids Everyday. I'm Josh. How are you doing today? It's so good to hear from you. Hey, have you ever been eating something [chips crunch] and all of a sudden you got really thirsty? [playful music] Well, if that ever happened to you, there's a good chance that the thing you were eating was something salty. [chips crunch] Maybe it was potato chips or french fries, just something with a lot of salt in it or on it. The next time that happens to you, the next time you're eating and you get really thirsty, you can ask your parents, "Does this food have a lot of salt in it?" It just might.
