The investigation into the 42-year-old nurse’s death began when she didn’t show up for work at a Mississauga pharmaceutical company.
Her remains were discovered a week later in Caledon, approximately 12 kilometres from her home.
Investigators say she was “brutally murdered in her residence” in Orangeville.

On a late summer morning, a white Toyota Corolla was found abandoned in an alley behind a business in Orangeville, Ontario. The bedroom community is located about 80 kilometers northwest of Toronto, and is popular for those who prefer a quieter lifestyle. At about 10:00 AM on Monday, August 30th, 2010, the vehicle was discovered with its front doors and trunk open. There were blood smears on the rear bumper.
