[tense music] That evening, the weather was perfect. It was one of those nights where the moon wasn't out and there's no stars. So we left r- probably close to around 8:30. I was actually on the scooter, and then they were on their bikes. We weren't in a big hurry. We were just kind of cruising down the road. You couldn't see anything unless it was in our little circle of light from our little flashlights. A man came out from the left-hand side. There's a little gravel driveway that leads back to a farm, and it's one of those, like, kind of ingrained where he comes out and he says, "Stop, and turn off your flashlights, and I have a gun."
