[instrumental music] Calling is you're a mom, or you're a speaker, you're a, I don't know, a dental hygienist. That's just the decanter. Our purpose is we're Marco Day. We get to tell everybody about the hope that lies within us. We are, we are the ambassadors of God, and I hear more often than not, especially with kinda younger generations, our culture's made such an idol of calling that they go, "Well, I'm called to..."

  2. Allison Allen· Host0:27

    Yeah.

  3. Lisa Harper· Host0:27

I wanna go, right now what you're called to might be to stack chairs 6:000 in the morning in the church. So I think we, we've made calling preeminent- Yeah ... and purpose secondary.

  4. Allison Allen· Host0:36

    Mm-hmm.

  5. Lisa Harper· Host0:36

And I'm like, no, no, no. Make sure your purpose directs your calling. [upbeat music] [upbeat jingle] AccessMore.

  6. Allison Allen· Host0:49

  7. Lisa Harper· Host1:11

We are in- Help us ... you, Dr. Howard, we, uh, we're always, like, looking to you, like- Yeah ... deer, deer in the headlights because it is... It's a, it's a, it's like going, you're gonna eat an elephant- Yeah ... and you go, "How do we eat an elephant?"

  8. Allison Allen· Host1:25

    Right.

  9. Lisa Harper· Host1:25

When somebody says, "Go through the Bible in a year," you're like, "Go through the Bible in a year?"
