And the awful irony is that Annabel ran a charity helping vulnerable women and her father was a former murder trial judge - but that didn’t prevent her from escaping and falling fatal victim like so many at the hands of abusive men. This is the story of a woman I would normally expect to see on shows such as Pride of Britain. She would be perfect for that. She dedicated her life to helping others. And for years, Annabel Roque worked with some of society's most vulnerable, including survivors of domestic abuse. Friends and colleagues described her as compassionate, determined, and deeply committed to making a difference.
