Today I’m giving you permission to show up as a fucking amateur, sloppily throw yourself into action and be mediocre. It’s sort of the opposite of a motivational speech, except that this is actually going to get you to take that FIRST step. Because mediocrity is the foundation upon which greatness gets built.

This is an episode for anyone that has struggled with perfectionism and hoards their ideas instead of taking tangible action towards the life they want.

    I wanna talk to the woman who holds herself to such a fucking high standard that it's basically impossible to not be constantly stressed. It's basically impossible to ever feel satisfied because the standard you hold for yourself is so fucking high. Okay? I wanna talk to you. I wanna talk to the high-achieving, ambitious women like me, who struggle to know when enough is enough. [chuckles] I'm a perfectionist. I'm a recovering perfectionist, and I am radically uprooting my perfectionism in this season of my life by using this one question, that I'm gonna introduce you to in a minute, that is rewiring my brain. It's rewiring how I approach everything in my life, and I'm getting more results. [laughs] I'm getting better sleep. I'm experiencing way less stress, way less inflammation in my fucking body, way less bloating, way less... Which was a big thing because it caused, it was caused by my inflammation because of my shallow breathing, because of my anxiety, because of the amount of expectations I hold myself to. [claps] Okay? I am radically changing my life, and I am unlearning
