[tense music] I had accepted my own fate, my own demise, but it didn't do much in the way of calming me down. Kneeling on the floor in my bedroom with my arms tied behind my back, legs tied up at the ankles, I was helpless. As they drug my friends and family out one by one, interrogating and then beating them, I didn't know if they were still alive or not. I just sat there in silence. But then, the footsteps. Upstairs at first, then slowly descending the staircase and getting closer to the door of my room. This was it for me. My life began flashing me right before my own eyes, and honestly, I didn't like what I saw. I didn't like what I'd become, a Michelle of the man I thought I'd be. If I could just get one more chance, this time I'd promise to change things. But alas, ye land lovers, it was my turn to walk the plank. And then the brass handle on my bedroom door slowly turned. The door began to swing open. I felt my heart drop. My eyes focused on the carpet. I was too scared to look up.
