  1. Dave DuFour· Host0:00

[upbeat music] Good morning and welcome to the NBA Daily. I'm Dave Dufau here with Esparra Henney.

  2. Esfandiar Baraheni· Host0:09

We can really call it morning.

  3. Dave DuFour· Host0:11

    It actually is morning.

  4. Esfandiar Baraheni· Host0:11

    Yeah.

  5. Dave DuFour· Host0:11

It's, uh, 20 minutes to 1:00 AM Eastern Time at MSG, where the Spurs stay alive by winning game three 115-111.

  6. Esfandiar Baraheni· Host0:22

    Yeah.

  7. Dave DuFour· Host0:23

Es, we thought maybe- Maybe ... that it was over. And the Knicks, I think, still gave the Spurs a scare late game. You know, Jalen Brunson, 12 points in the fourth quarter.

  8. Esfandiar Baraheni· Host0:35

    Huge OG Anunoby shot. Yeah.

  9. Dave DuFour· Host0:36

    Huge An- Anunoby game.

  10. Esfandiar Baraheni· Host0:38

    Yeah.

  11. Dave DuFour· Host0:39

But just not quite enough for the Spurs, who kinda figured some things out it seems between game two and game three.

  12. Esfandiar Baraheni· Host0:45

Yeah. Uh, they made their adjustments.

  13. Dave DuFour· Host0:47

    Mm-hmm.

  14. Esfandiar Baraheni· Host0:47

You know? Uh, they've been toying around with the idea of Wemby guarding Josh Hart- Yeah ... having him roam around, but they fully committed to it in this game.

  15. Dave DuFour· Host0:55

    Mm-hmm.

  16. Esfandiar Baraheni· Host0:56

Uh, they decided that we're okay with Josh Hart knocking down threes, and he, to his credit, like Josh did his job.

  17. Dave DuFour· Host1:01

    He stuck some threes.

  18. Esfandiar Baraheni· Host1:02

He knocked down four threes. But ultimately I think that changed the complexion of this game for the Spurs defensively. Uh, they were able to force turnovers. Knicks had 13 turnovers. A lot of weird ones too.

  19. Dave DuFour· Host1:11

You know what? I w- we can say, yeah, they forced turnovers 'cause, you know, it's how you talk about the sport. Truth is, a lot of unforced errors.

  20. Esfandiar Baraheni· Host1:18

A lot of bad ones for the Knicks too. Yeah ...

  21. Dave DuFour· Host1:19

a lot of just throwing the ball away, and the game started that way for the Knicks. And I almost wonder if maybe the disruption of their pre-game routine- Hmm ... you know, both teams had to get here-
