[upbeat music] Josh Brown, what's the best Bond movie?
Josh Brown· Host0:11
Ooh, what a good question.
Scott Tailford· Host0:12
I've not seen that many of them.
Josh Brown· Host0:14
Yeah, I'm not a, like, I'm not gonna lie- [laughs] ... I'm not a massive Bond film- No, me neither ... not a massive Bond film.
Scott Tailford· Host0:18
You're not.
Josh Brown· Host0:18
I certainly am not a massive Bond film. [laughs] Not a huge, huge, huge Bond fan- No ... but I have seen some in my time.
Scott Tailford· Host0:23
I, uh, came in on GoldenEye and then loved that back in the day. My f- that was, you know when people say, like, that's their Bond?
Josh Brown· Host0:29
Yeah.
Scott Tailford· Host0:29
Uh, you have a particular Bond, and maybe your Bond is Roger Moore or whatever. And I was gonna string off a bunch of Bonds. I don't know any other ones. [laughs] George, George Lazenby.
Josh Brown· Host0:36
Yeah.
Scott Tailford· Host0:36
And then the one that people... I'm just thinking of the ones that Alan Partridge talks about. [laughs] And then what's the... [laughs] What's the one? Timothy Dalton, people don't like his ones 'cause they're more serious.
Josh Brown· Host0:44
You've bang, you, you've got it bang on. My favorite Bond is when Alan Partridge reenacts- [laughs] ... Bond in Alan Partridge, uh, Season 2.
Scott Tailford· Host0:53
Yeah.
Josh Brown· Host0:53
That's probably it.
Scott Tailford· Host0:54
That's largely my reference point for Bond is through the lens of Alan Partridge. But I was gonna say, because, and this, this is the entire point of the podcast, the UPP, the UPP- The UPP ... where we get through as many people's questions as possible. But because I'm playing 007 First Light, and it's immaculate, it's got me in a bit of a Bond mood, where I'm like, "Maybe I should go back and watch the actual good ones," because Pierce Brosnan's aren't very highly rated.
Josh Brown· Host1:13
No.
Scott Tailford· Host1:13
And I, that, that's the era that I grew up with. Pierce Brosnan is my Bond.
Josh Brown· Host1:16
Pierce Bro- Pierce Brosnan's Bond is what the Star Wars prequels are to other people of my generation- Ooh ... in that I grew up, grew up with them.
Scott Tailford· Host1:24
Mm-hmm.
Josh Brown· Host1:24
Love them. I love Tomorrow Never Dies. I remember having the VHS of that and just, like, rinsing it.
