6/15/202651 min
First order of business: Clare has an apology for the Socceroos. Sort of.
Also: A sliding scale of Gwyneth Paltrow’s recent “bold” decisions, from the silly to the shocking.
Trump got a really good birthday present, we’re not sure what it might cost us.
And, are Australians going to have to let go of swimming in the open ocean?
Plus: A very Beckham weekend culminated in failed bid for sibling reconciliation - in a very public place.

[upbeat music] Hello, and welcome to Mamamia Out Loud. It's What Women Are Actually Talking About on Monday, the 15th of June. I'm Holly Wainwright.
Claire Stephens· Host0:09
I'm Claire Stephens.
Amelia Lester· Host0:10
And I'm Amelia Lester.
Holly Wainwright· Host0:12
And here's what's made our agenda for today. Gwyneth Paltrow has made a lot of people extremely furious. We explain.
Amelia Lester· Host0:21
Have the Beckhams overplayed their hands this time?
Claire Stephens· Host0:24
Plus, is swimming in the ocean a thing of the past for many Australians now?
Holly Wainwright· Host0:29
But first, look, in case you missed it, I was away last week and Claire Stephens upset a lot of people with some comments she made.
Claire Stephens· Host0:38
I- They weren't political.
Holly Wainwright· Host0:40
[laughs] They weren't outrageous. They were about sport.
Claire Stephens· Host0:44
[laughs] I'm ashamed. [laughs] Um, I, people in my life are annoyed at me. [laughs] But most of all, more importantly, the Out Louders are annoyed at me.
Holly Wainwright· Host0:53
Let, look, I was... I go away for a week and sports correspondent Claire Stephens goes rogue. You were talking about the Knicks, the New York Knicks, who've just won the championships. They're the celebrity favorites, da, da, da, da, da, and you were talking about the phenomena, the pop culture phenomena of that. And Claire said that, a- and I have to say that I found it a little strange. [laughs] I love you, but I grew up in England, where football is a religion, and people get very excited about it. We live in Australia, where sport, again, big part of the cultural identity. But you said that sporting excitement was an American thing.
