It comes exactly one year after the Liberals won the federal election, so in many ways, this is not only a fiscal report card, but an assessment of the government's performance as a whole. Janice McGregor is in our parliamentary bureau, and she joins me now. So Janice, how does the government's decision to give an update in spring and then a budget in the fall shape what we're going to hear today?
