President Trump is criticizing oil companies for not lowering gasoline prices in line with a recent pullback in crude. Posting on Truth Social, the president said that customers are being gouged and that he's instructed the DOJ to immediately start looking into the situation. While US gasoline prices have eased from recent highs, they don't adjust immediately as supply takes weeks to travel through pipelines and refineries before being distributed. According to AAA, US pump prices average three dollars and ninety-three cents a gallon today, down from more than four dollars and fifty cents a month ago. Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba has filed a lawsuit against the US Department of Justice in a bid to get its name struck off the Pentagon's list of blacklisted companies.
