    Here's your midday brief for Wednesday, June 24th. I'm Anthony Bansi for the Wall Street Journal. President Trump abruptly canceled a scheduled signing ceremony for a major bipartisan housing bill today. He said he will not sign any legislation until Congress passes his voter eligibility measure, the Save America Act. Republican Senate Majority Leader John Thune has publicly said the voting bill lacks the votes necessary to pass. Camp Mystic, the girls camp in Texas where 28 people died in a flash flood last year, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. The camp reported debts of between $10 and $50 million with its own assets under $10 million. Last week, state investigators said the camp lacked a written evacuation plan and that senior leaders had ignored life-threatening weather warnings before the disaster.
