Okay, LD, a couple weeks ago we gave you our top five most important US Men's National Team players- Yep ... at this summer's World Cup. So today, we're gonna dig into our top five USMNT unsung heroes. So- Oh, I like this. Yeah. So guys might not get the headlines, th- their names aren't in- in lights, but they're gonna, they're gonna serve a vital purpose as the tournament goes on. So, yeah.

  2. Landon Donovan· Host0:31

In every World Cup, there, like somebody shows up, you're like, "Oh, I didn't know that," you know?

  3. Tim Howard· Host0:35

  4. Landon Donovan· Host0:36

  5. Tim Howard· Host0:37

    Always. Yeah.

  6. Landon Donovan· Host0:38

    John O'Brien scoring in '02.

  7. Tim Howard· Host0:40

    Yep.

  8. Landon Donovan· Host0:40

Clint burst onto the scene in 2006, right? Like all that stuff. So, uh, let's start number five, a guy that, he's been an attacking player most of his national team career, but now he's moved to the right back position, and I think Pochettino sees him as a right wing back. I don't think he can play a right back. Um, he got a little bit exposed by Doku in the Belgium game, Tim Weah.

  9. Tim Howard· Host1:05

    Most people do. Yeah.

  10. Landon Donovan· Host1:05

[laughs] Uh, most people do. Yeah.

  11. Tim Howard· Host1:06

    Right.

  12. Landon Donovan· Host1:07

So I think as a wing back though, um, it gives now a lot of options because you have Sergiño Dest, you have Alex Freeman, and you have Timothy Weah. So I think he's a guy that has enough about him where he could score a goal or two actually, and burst on and people go, "Wow."

  13. Tim Howard· Host1:22

Yeah. We, uh, we... Unsung because he's playing sort of an unnatural position, but one, but one that a lot of players
