Todd Chrisley Breaks His Silence on Prison, Family, and Trump’s Pardon
6/23/202647 min
This episode features a wide-ranging conversation with Todd Chrisley about fame, family, prison, and life after a presidential pardon. He explains how his reality TV career began almost by accident, how the family franchise grew into multiple new projects, and why he now sees his next chapter as bigger than television. The discussion moves from the business of entertainment and real estate into the personal cost of prosecution, prison, and public scrutiny, with Chrisley framing his comeback as both a professional rebound and a spiritual reset.
A major focus is the justice system. Chrisley describes the flaws he says he saw firsthand inside federal prison, including inconsistent enforcement, unequal treatment, and the human toll of delay and bureaucracy. He also speaks at length about his wife Julie, the moment he learned he had been pardoned, and why prison reform has become central to what he wants to do next. The interview then turns sharply toward Judge Eleanor Ross, with Chrisley accusing her of dishonesty and misconduct and arguing that her handling of the bench reflects a deeper failure inside the federal court system.

Greta Van Susteren· Host0:06
Todd Chrisley, major, major, major reality TV star. He goes from reality TV to, well, he took a shortcut to prison, then President Trump pardoned him. He's back out, back up on the horse, another big reality star, but guess what? He's taking on a federal judge, and the reality show with the federal judge could be Judge Goes Wild, starring Todd Chrisley. Watch this. [upbeat music] Todd, nice to talk to you.
Todd Chrisley· Guest0:44
Nice to meet you, Greta. I've been a huge fan of yours for a number of years.
Greta Van Susteren· Host0:49
Well, I always love hearing that, you know? My, I mean, at home, my cats and dogs think I'm not so good. I'm slow to feed, I don't move fast enough. I've only got two hands for petting. [laughs] My husband's got some complaints. I never shut a cupboard, and we've been together 47 years. He doesn't, and he can't, "Why can't you learn to close a cupboard?" So anyway, so I do like to hear. You're very nice.
Todd Chrisley· Guest1:07
[laughs] [laughs] Well, it's a pleasure being here with you today.
Greta Van Susteren· Host1:11
Nice to hear it. So you're back on TV. You actually have been back for a while.
Todd Chrisley· Guest1:14
Well, we are back on television. Um, we're currently right now filming five different shows, and, um, so we're very blessed. We're very blessed at where we are today versus where we were, you know, 28 months ago.
Greta Van Susteren· Host1:27
You have five shows. I mean, it's sort of complicated. When
