It is Monday, June 1st, 2026. This is another edition of Baseball Today, presented to you by T-Mobile. That is my man, Trevor Plouffe. I am Chris Rose, producer Dan along for the ride as well. Good to have you back home, brother.
Trevor Plouffe· Host0:14
There is literally no place like home. There's... It's a reason, uh, that it's a saying, 'cause it feels so good, so I'm happy. I appreciate it. Got to see my beautiful family, wake the kids up. Now, I get to talk with you.
Chris Rose· Host0:28
Oh. Well, but you get to talk with me whether you're in Boston or Chicago or Pittsburgh, so that- It's different though, 'cause we're, we're in the vicinity.
Trevor Plouffe· Host0:35
We're only about 12 miles apart.
Chris Rose· Host0:37
Oh, that's true. That's true. Good point. Well, I'm happy that you got to, uh, reunite with your family. I saw your, your son Teddy over the weekend at the Dodgers game. That was cool.
Trevor Plouffe· Host0:46
Yeah.
Chris Rose· Host0:47
What a good-looking kid he is. Big smile, handsome, talented, smart. Jeez, oh man, have you had a DNA test?
Trevor Plouffe· Host0:53
Sounds like his mom. [laughs] Yeah.
Chris Rose· Host0:55
Yeah.
Trevor Plouffe· Host0:55
Uh, he's, he's great. He, he really enjoyed seeing you, um, and he was at the ballpark with two of his other friends, and yeah, they got to see a pretty good game.
Chris Rose· Host1:05
Mm.
Trevor Plouffe· Host1:05
Phillies end up coming back on that one, but, uh- Yeah ... yeah, good times.
Chris Rose· Host1:09
Uh, speaking of Teddy, you know, right around the corner he's gonna be playing high school baseball and you'll be in the thick of that sauce, and that's why I wanna talk a little bit about high school baseball and our tip of the cap. Our youngest son, Brady, his old baseball program, Brentwood, won their first ever CIF crown. They beat Covina over the weekend, so it was Division Six.
