The Welfare Check Body Cams | BONUS

4/20/202624 min

Before we get to episode 10, there’s some important context about Laura and her family’s interactions with Scottsdale Police. At the end of 2023, the police were dispatched to Laura’s family home for at least 4 different welfare checks, most of which were likely initiated by online users who had been following her court cases. Two of those welfare checks were recorded on officer bodycams. In this bonus episode, we’re playing those recordings.
