President Donald Trump ringing in his 80th birthday with the announcement a peace agreement has been reached. But is this finally peace, and when will the war officially be over? Before we get there, here's your news headlines for Tuesday, June 16. One of the women known as a so-called ISIS bride has rejected Islamic extremism and considers her time in Syria to have been 11 years of hell. Zaynab Ahmad's lawyer made the assertions on her behalf on Monday as her application for bail entered its third day. Barrister Grace Morgan told Melbourne Magistrates Court her client does not support Islamic State and held a deep anger toward the men who enforced its ideals upon her. The 31-year-old was charged with slavery offenses in May after returning to Australia with other so-called ISIS brides and their children. Federal police allege it was while she was living with her family in 2017 that Ahmad's father, Mohammed, bought a teenage girl as a slave for 10,000 US dollars. It's alleged the girl was reportedly raped and beaten by Mohammed. It's not alleged that Ahmad assaulted the girl, but the teen claims she was treated very badly by her. Ms. Morgan told the court
