In a VERY surprising Nintendo Direct, Star Fox 64 is getting the remake treatment with a brand new Switch 2 game simply dubbed, Star Fox. This remake is a complete overhaul of the original with brand new graphics and cutscenes as well as mouse controls, an expanded campaign mode, challenge mode, and a very strange but VERY nintendo AR mode where you can turn your face into one of the games pilots for online play across GameChat.
