[rock music] Hello, and welcome to the Wisdom Cricket Weekly Podcast. It would be a lie to describe the cricket played in Division One last week as thrilling. Uh, not even a single game getting to the fourth innings. Today we ask, why were there so many draws, and what can be done about it? There were three results in Division Two, however, including an epic chase in the game between two of the main title challengers, Durham and Lancashire, where we also saw a statement 100 from one of the contenders to open the batting for England this summer. We also hear from another one of those contenders to open the batting for England in the show as well. I'm Yasir Raan, and with me in the Lord's Library are Katya Witney and the Cricketer's County Cricket aficionado, Nick Friend. Uh, Nick, lovely to have you on the Weekly for the first time. But before we hear from you, we're gonna play a chat that myself with CricInfo's, uh, Andrew Miller had with the Glamorgan Jersey and England Lions opener Asa Tribe last week. Tribe has had a fascinating 12 months, practically unheard of in the county game 12 months ago. He has since helped Glamorgan win promotion to Division One for the first time in 20 years. He's played for the Paarl Royals in the SA20, and he scored an eye-catching 100 for the England Lions in Australia over the winter.
