The Iran war, we're facing a weakening of all these, uh, international order based on rules. Real allies are like real friends. They tell each other the truth no matter what. When it comes to our relationship with the US, uh, I mean, we want to keep that, uh, transatlantic bond. But if you go into the details, what you see is that we have an open trade war, which was opened unilaterally by the US administration. I do believe that Europe needs to be a force of good, because our enemies, what they want is to have a more fragmented Europe.

You're one of a very, very small number of left-of-center leaders. I know Britain sadly is not in the European Union, but what would you like to see the UK do?

I would, I would like to definitely to have the UK on board again. I think that the framework has changed because of Brexit, but on the other hand, I think that, uh, societies can make mistakes, and I think it was a mistake for the UK to, to leave the European Union.
