Several of these interviews were done with journalist and author Barry Cummins, who was invited into the couple's home and unknowingly sat just metres from where tragic Tina lay buried.

I'm Emer Rabbitts, and this is Crime World, a podcast from crimeworld.com. So Barry, your book, Buried Secrets, tells the story of Richard Satchwell. He murdered his wife, Tina. And a lot of people would be familiar with this story from the trial. He was convicted last year of the murder of his wife, Tina, in March 2017. But I suppose the most shocking element of this case has always been that she lay buried under his stairs, the stairs of both- Yeah ... of their home for over six years. Um, eventually, the Gardai went in and found her remains in October 2023. So I suppose we can get into the case and the trial, but I guess while you're, you're here with us today is you've written a book about your experience.
