We are in a literacy epidemic, and not just like reading words on a page, but media literacy. Most people engage with forms of media that are not written- Mm-hmm ... but like videos, movies, podcasts, whatever. And you also need to be literate in media to understand what's going on. People will watch a video and come away with very, very, very different interpretations of what was said. When I posted that video, the comments on my video demonstrated a lack of media literacy. It's complete illiteracy.
