[singing] Alhamdulillah wassalatu wassalamu ala rasulillah. It was the 10th year after Hijra, only a few days or a few weeks before Arafah, the day of Hajj. The messenger of Allah, Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, had been called to tell him that his only son, Ibrahim, who had not even reached the age of two years old, was dying. So the Prophet, peace be upon him, carried his blessed legs while he was sad and his tears were dropping from his eyes, and he carried his son, Ibrahim. He looked at him as he took his last breath and died before his eyes, Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam. For every prophet went through calamities, and Muhammad, peace be upon him, went through every calamity that anyone can think of. And he used to say, "Whoever goes through hardship or calamity or sorrow, then all you gotta do is remember me and know that I also went through it. You're not alone." He went to bury his son, and as he was burying him, Abdulrahman ibn Awf Radi Allahu Anhu saw the messenger Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam crying a lot. He said, "Ya Rasulullah, you also?" Meaning, "You had prevented us from crying a lot over the dead person
