I can't be alone in thinking one part of growing up that no one prepares you for is no longer seeing your childhood friends on a near-daily basis. It's nobody's fault, of course. Lots move away, schedules fill up as careers are pursued. Over time, some start families of their own. And next thing you know, 15 years have gone by and you're looking for a time machine. A couple summers ago, we finally got a group of us together for a weekend in Kelowna, BC. We found a home using Guest Favorites, which are the most loved and highest-rated homes on Airbnb. We wanted a spot that was comfortable and spacious and, boy, did it deliver. We were out and about most of the trip, golfing, time on the water, going out for dinner, but the home we found on Airbnb served as a perfect launch point. The reminiscing over breakfast with everyone gathered in the kitchen was one of my favorite parts of the weekend. The backyard was excellent for games or just relaxing in the morning sun before getting the day started. Our little Okanagan oasis.
