The Devil (doesn't) Wears Crocs & Emily Blunt Wants You to Quit Your Job And Follow Your Passion For Free
5/5/202657 min
Hey Lifers!
Laura had a very unexpected visitor pop into her ToniMay store in Bondi - none other than Sydney Sweeney, who came in with her best friend and walked out with two bespoke solid gold pieces. The thing is, there had been zero press about Sydney being in Sydney (yes, really) - so did this little shopping trip and Laura’s socials accidentally out her location?
Britt's update comes with a hot warning, and we mean that literally. During a lovely morning in bed with her husband in Italy, she managed to burn herself in a very unfortunate place with a very hot coffee. We’ll say no more…
And in other news: Laura's daughter Marlie-Mae has a new best friend. It's a snail. She's already been scoping out enclosures. We support this era.
We unpack all things The Devil Wears Prada. The iconic cast reunited to dish on fashion faux pas, and we took the opportunity to go deep on the trends we are absolutely not letting back through the door.
And then there's Emily Blunt, who is copping serious backlash online after telling fans to quit their jobs and chase their creative dreams, even if it means making "no money." Easy to say when you're Emily Blunt? Or genuinely good advice? We get into it.

Do you know what? Sometimes we get to the end of the week, right? So like, uh, just to kinda set the scene for you, every Sunday night, Brittnee and I, we get on a little group call, and we do a little team planning meeting around, what is it that we're gonna talk about this week? And every week, I get to Saturday, and every week, I'm like, "Fuck, nothing's happened in my life," 'cause all I do is run around after three children, and no one cares about my children [laughs] anymore except for me.
Brittany Hockley· Host0:41
They do. I- [laughs] ... I care about your three children.
Laura Byrne· Host0:44
No, but every week- I do ... every week, I'm like, "I can't talk about the kids again. I need something else." But I don't do anything except parent, so I'm kind of in that phase of life where it's only ever revolved and related around kids. And then this weekend, as I was walking on a little walk with Matt, and we were walking through Bondi, I ran into someone who works in... Actually, I'll tell you the full story, but I'm gonna, I'm gonna cut to the chase.
Brittany Hockley· Host1:08

Oh, my goodness.
Brittany Hockley· Host1:14
So far, it's a weekend, and you're on a little walk, walking on a walk with Matt. [laughs] Without the children.
Laura Byrne· Host1:18
No. Okay. We had, if you guys saw, a very big thing happen for Toni Mae, and that is that Sydney Sweeney, the Hollywood actress Sydney Sweeney, who was in a film that Brittnee hated, but apart from that, it's
