The portrait of Satan I see in the scripture is so different from how it's portrayed in modern culture that no wonder nobody believes in Satan anymore. Who would believe in such ludicrous caricatures? But Satan in the scripture is the angel of light who will manifest himself not as a Hitler or a Mussolini or anything like that. He's an angel of light. And so at the same time, he's called a roaring lion seeking those whom he will devour.
