There's a proverb you've heard before, that one about the relationship between smoke and fire, as in where there's the one, the other has been busy burning something, or soon will be. And in our story, investigators believe that by the late summer of 2013, for nine months, Cari Farver had been, metaphorically speaking, arranging the kindling, flicking a lighter as she escalated her
