Hey, everyone. Gil Gross here, and it is time for another mailbag, where I answer your questions, hot takes, observations, and ultimately your comments about tennis or anything else. But before we do that, let's talk about Jannik Sinner versus Daniil Medvedev. I am recording on a Friday night. The match has been suspended due to rain, with Sinner up 4-2 in the third set. It has been incredible theater, incredible drama, fantastic quality, and Jannik Sinner has had to dig extraordinarily deep in order to find himself in the position he's in here, up a break in the third set. Let's start with this. Medvedev has pushed Sinner into the physical red. This has been a very uncomfortable match for Jannik Sinner, physically speaking. He has been made to suffer out onto the court. Now, there is a question, an, an open question I would say, about why that is. I- it sounded to me like on the Tennis Channel broadcast, Mark Petchey and Chris Eubanks were, were thinking that maybe there was something going on with Jannik maybe coming into the match or, uh, maybe cumulative fatigue playing a massive impact on how Sinner was feeling out there.
