Later as he and his cell targeted James ‘Mago’ Gately they had no idea they were under surveillance and that their murder plot would lead to their downfall.
Yesterday McGovern was confronted by a victim impact statement from the children of Kirwan, Donna and Christopher, who told him they would never get over their Dad’s death.

They, they move on then to about this van being used for their surveillance in Belfast. So this was brought to Ireland under the name of Andrew Crawford. So this is the guy who was working for one of Bomber Kavanagh's car businesses in Birmingham at the time.

Um, and it's parked in Dublin Airport, and the CCTV of that, of, uh, uh, the vehicle, you know, uh, Dublin port and then arriving in, in, uh, the, I think it's the short-term car park- Yeah ... that they were using. Uh, and then, uh, uh, on the 27th of March, the, again, this is all the CCT evidence.
