Later as he and his cell targeted James ‘Mago’ Gately they had no idea they were under surveillance and that their murder plot would lead to their downfall.
Yesterday McGovern was confronted by a victim impact statement from the children of Kirwan, Donna and Christopher, who told him they would never get over their Dad’s death.
