[upbeat music] Hello, and welcome to The Guardian Football Weekly. Ah, Scotland. Maybe it was just a pipe dream to get something from Brazil, but talk about having the stuffing knocked out of you so early on. Scott McKenna dawdling in the seventh minute, allowing Vinicius to score, and that was basically that. They were lucky with another defensive lapse from Jack Hendry before Vinicius again and Matheus Cunha in the second half. Scotland had the odd chance, but they're almost certainly going home. Haiti gave it a good go, but eventually overpowered by Morocco. Then in Group B, Switzerland topped the group after beating second place Canada. The hosts really got it launched late on, but it wasn't enough. Bosnia's win over Qatar means they're through as well. And in Group A, Mexico were already top, but joyous scenes at the Azteca as they sent the Czechs home, while South Africa shocked South Korea to come second and qualify for the knockouts for the first time in their history. We'll try to preview tomorrow's games without going down an S&M cul-de-sac. Someone offers to make Barry's dreams come true. There's your questions, and that's today's Guardian Football Weekly. [upbeat music] On the panel today with me in LA, Barry Glendenning. Hello.
