[upbeat music] I'm Joyce Meyer, and I believe that God can heal you everywhere you hurt. Well, welcome to Enjoying Everyday Life. I am really glad that you joined me today because I have something on my heart that I think is really important. I wanna tell you ahead of time that you may not initially care for the subject, but if you hear me all the way to the end, you will be excited about it. I wanna talk to you today about sacrifice. And I know initially that's like, "Oh, probably I sacrifice enough. I don't wanna hear any more about sacrifice." But God has called us to be transformed into the image of Jesus Christ. And in order to do that, we will have to sacrifice. As God changes us, there will be things that we maybe like that we're gonna have to let go of, and there will be things that maybe we don't like that we'll have to take hold of. The main reason why people don't change is because they don't want to suffer. And I wanna read you 1 Peter 4:1-2. I think they're just really awesome, and I wanna encourage you to study these scriptures, to look at them and just study them and study them.
