The important thing is, it can't get in here, so I have time to enact my plan. Not a great one, but workable. [alarm sounding] Upload is on track. Distress beacon is active. Nothing to do now but file my report. Huh, hands are shaking. I feel numb. But it, uh, it's fine. There will be time for emotion later. The activation of the gravity drive had some sort of effect on our systems. The ship's hull took considerable damage from the implosion. Sections of the ship have phased inside other sections. The drive assistance droid has gotten ahold of the matter constructor and, uh, well, you'll see soon enough if you're on your way. But Christ, I really hope you're not, Grandpa. I hope you got my message when all of this started. I hope you decided not to come, and I hope you never, ever learn what happened on my ship.
