[lion roaring] Why did you bring us here? We're just gonna die. No, we are not going to die. [crying] Your father is gonna be here soon, and it'll be all over. [crying] Well, why isn't he here now? He knew we were coming. And you can bellyache all you want about his staying away, but if he's not here, it's 'cause he's dead, and he's not coming. I know it.

Hello, Now Playing listeners. This is Arnie, and I am here to talk to you about what's been called the most dangerous movie ever made, Roar. You may not have heard of this film. It was made in the '70s and released in 1981 only in Australia. But it was starring and directed by Noel Marshall, and also starred his wife, Tippi Hedren, and Tippi's daughter, Melanie Griffith, as well as Noel Marshall's sons. But really, the stars of the movie are the over 100 untrained lions, tigers, cougars, and elephants that made this film a living hell to make. It's a movie Stuart's been passionate about for over a decade, and he's really excited to be able to discuss it as the ultimate final episode of Now Playing's spring donation drive. I'm gonna give you a clip from our bonus
