    My thing about traveling is I always wanna go somewhere new. Like, I never wanna do the same thing twice. But there is this one place that makes me break my own rule. I recently went there five times in a single year. I will do my best to describe where it is, but to me it's just the place where Rita is. [gentle music] Rita is one of my best friends. She used to work in public radio. We actually met working on a story together. Now she works for the US Forest Service, so she lives in this beautiful part of Southwestern Colorado in a town called Pagosa Springs, and she's from just a few hours away in Taos, New Mexico. So this place, this kind of upside down triangle that has Southwestern Colorado on the top and Northern New Mexico at the bottom, is a place I keep going back to over and over because it's amazing, and also because of Rita. You could call it Two Corners, 'cause it's really close to Four Corners, or just call it the place I go to and spend time with a really good friend, a place where I was able to get through some hard stuff.
