  1. Rick Shiels· Host0:00

[funky music] Hello, everybody. Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, good day. Uh, I'm your host, Rick Shiels. I'm here with... Well, I'm actually not here with co-host Guy. We're on, quite literally, on the other side of the world to each other. But somehow, technology, I still don't even know how it works, we are making a podcast. Guy is in, from what I believe, an incredibly sunny Manchester.

  2. Guy Charnock· Host0:32

You say a lot when you're away, that I'm in sunny Salford or sunny Manchester, and normally you're lying, Rick. You're telling lies. However, today you could not be speaking more truth. However, like a typical Brit, I'm gonna moan. It is too hot. It is touching 30 degrees already at 20 past 9:00 in the morning. We are not set up for it in this country. It is hot. It is sweltering. Um, yeah, you're not missing much.

  3. Rick Shiels· Host0:55

[laughs] Well, uh, uh, question, because that, that studio is normally very cold. I'm guessing you've not got the radiators on underneath the desk.

  4. Guy Charnock· Host1:03

I have not indeed. It is... Actually, our workspace, our office, is actually probably one of the best places to be right now because it's, it's cool. Um, but yeah, outside it is just already, it's baked. And it feels different, doesn't it? When you're at home in the UK, it's obviously great to have nice weather. Of course it is. And you start thinking golf, golf, golf, golf. But it just doesn't feel quite the same as being abroad when you've got swimming pools, and you're just in that totally different mindset.
