First 90 seconds
  1. Holly Wainwright· Host0:00

[upbeat music] Hello, and welcome. It's Mamamia Out Loud, what women are actually talking about today. It's Friday, the 29th of May.

  2. Claire Stephens· Host0:11

    Woo.

  3. Holly Wainwright· Host0:11

    I know.

  4. Claire Stephens· Host0:12

You had to look down and check the date.

  5. Holly Wainwright· Host0:13

    I did.

  6. Claire Stephens· Host0:14

    [laughs] Mm-hmm.

  7. Holly Wainwright· Host0:14

Because I, I'm not gonna say it, 'cause it's so boring. I'm just like, but how is it the 29th of May? I'm sorry to be boring. I'm Holly Wainwright.

  8. Claire Stephens· Host0:21

    I'm Claire Stephens.

  9. Em Vernham· Host0:22

    And I'm Em Vernham.

  10. Holly Wainwright· Host0:24

And here's what made our agenda for today. It's what Katy Perry calls Justin Trudeau. It's what Kylie calls Timothy.

  11. Em Vernham· Host0:31

    Mm.

  12. Holly Wainwright· Host0:31

And what the internet calls Pedro Pascal. And what the world's most successful female podcaster calls herself. [gasps] So, what's with all the daddy?

  13. Em Vernham· Host0:41

Mm. I have answers, don't worry.

  14. Claire Stephens· Host0:43

    Good.

  15. Em Vernham· Host0:44

[laughs] Don't worry. Plus, we finally have an answer to the age-old question of, how often do you wash your hair?

  16. Holly Wainwright· Host0:51

[laughs] This is very important business.

  17. Claire Stephens· Host0:53

And the perils of a reading gap relationship.

  18. Em Vernham· Host0:56

    Mm.

  19. Claire Stephens· Host0:57

What does it mean if your partner doesn't read? And can you survive it?

  20. Em Vernham· Host1:00

    Mm.

  21. Holly Wainwright· Host1:01

But first, Em Vernham- Do you guys remember when I attempted to raw dog boredom?

  22. Claire Stephens· Host1:08

    Yeah. Ah.

  23. Holly Wainwright· Host1:09

    I do.

  24. Claire Stephens· Host1:10

    Very well.

  25. Holly Wainwright· Host1:10

We would, it was this trend where the young people were filming themselves doing nothing- Yeah ... except looking at a clock. And I was like, "That's silly," and you were like, "I tried it."

  26. Em Vernham· Host1:21

I tried it. I stared at a wall for 10 minutes, and I had a clock in front of me. We actually filmed it, 'cause I did it on company time, of course.

  27. Unknown speaker1:29

    [laughs]
