[upbeat music] Hello, and welcome to the Hoop Collective podcast. We talk about the NBA, which we're doing about midnight on Saturday night. Sunday morning, the NBA finals are set. Joining us from New York City, where games three, four, and six, if necessary, will be played, is Tim Bontemps.
Tim MacMahon· Panelist0:17
Hello, everybody.
Brian Windhorst· Host0:18
And joining us from Oklahoma City, where the season is over and the champ's reign is coming to an end, um, he'll be headed down San Antone way along with the Spurs, who had a impressive, inspiring, maybe changing of the guard victory tonight in game seven, is Band McMahan.
Tim MacMahon· Panelist0:37
Howdy, partners. It will be my last time joining you from this beautiful green room in the bowels of the, uh, Paycom Center. Uh, you know, the Thunder might still have a dynasty on their hands, but boy, oh boy, do they have a big old roadblock down I-35 in those San Antonio Spurs. [lips smack] And Wemby shed tears of joy on that court tonight, uh, celebrated on that court tonight. And, uh, you know, this series, I'm gonna say lived up to the hype. [laughs] All the games weren't close, but games- Yeah ... one and seven were epic, and it got to seven. This series lived up to the hype, and I think we're gonna see a repeat of this series, or at least a rematch of this series, several times over the next decade or so.

Basically, this is one of those moments that we have.
