[instrumental music] Welcome to Seeking Alpha's Wall Street Breakfast, where we cover the top news for investors every morning. It's good to be with you on this Tuesday, the 16th of June. I'm Julie Morgan. Qualcomm is working on over 40 designs of new AI devices. The CEO told CNBC on the Tech Download podcast that these wearable tech devices include jewelry, earbuds with cameras, pens, and watches. He goes on to say that, "The principle is something that you wear, something that is with you all the time, something that can see the world around you so you have the context and the ability for you to access an agent and talk to an agent." The Qualcomm CEO says he is bullish on smart glasses, a category of product that could rival smartphones in terms of scale. He told CNBC that smart glasses shipments are now in the order of multiple tens of millions per year. AI agents are widely viewed as the next evolution of digital assistants, such as Apple's Siri and Google's Gemini. Tech companies are betting that these agents will be capable of handling more sophisticated multi-step processes across a range of apps and services on users' devices. Advanced Micro Devices saw renewed investor confidence on Monday after it announced the acquisition of Mex, a company focused on AI-driven memory optimization technology.
