Hey Clutterbugs! Struggling with procrastination? You’re not alone. Procrastination can leave us feeling stuck, overwhelmed, and trapped in a cycle of guilt and avoidance. In this episode, I open up about my own struggles with procrastination—how I’ve started too many projects, gotten overwhelmed, and ended up in a rut—and share the strategies that have helped me break free. If you’re ready to ditch the overwhelm, tackle unfinished projects, and finally get things done, this episode is for you! We’ll also be joined by Dr. Christine Li, aka the Procrastination Coach, who shares her expert insights on why we procrastinate (hint: it’s not about laziness!) and how to reframe your mindset to take action. Together, we’ll tackle the root causes of procrastination, from perfectionism and fear of failure to negative self-talk and the shame that keeps us stuck. Plus, I’ll share my favorite “do it crappy” method to help you stop overthinking and start making progress—no matter how messy it might be. And don’t think you’re just going to sit and listen! I want you to grab an unfinished project—whether it’s that pile of laundry, a junk drawer, or a half-finished craft—and get moving while you tune in. Set a timer, borrow my energy, and let’s tackle it together. You’ll be amazed at how much better you feel when you close the loop and finally get something done. I’m also answering your questions in our Talk to Cas segment, where we chat about all your clutter questions. Let me know in the comments what you accomplished while listening—your wins inspire me and everyone else tuning in. Let’s do this! I really struggle with procrastination, and I feel like I go in waves, and sometimes it's worse than others. And right now, I'm in a rut. Let me just say, I'm in a, I'm in a deep hole of despair. And I didn't realize how much actual work and effort they were going to be, so I didn't finish them. And now I'm dreading going back and finishing. I'm procrastinating a bunch of projects that not only are adding to clutter because of all the supplies, but it's stopping me from doing other things. When you are procrastinating on something you know you should be doing, it means you feel guilt and shame, having fun even, or starting anything new, and you're stuck in this limbo of time-wasting waiting. Waiting for motivation, waiting to actually, like, uh, get the oomph, and also denying yourself doing anything else because you should be doing XYZ. So today, we're gonna finish an unfinished project. Today, we're gonna get something off our to-do list, and we're gonna talk about how to tackle procrastination once and for all. I have an awesome interview today, but before we get into that, I want to help inspire you and pick something that you can work on today while you're listening that is an unfinished project. You are
