In December 2020, Marla and her husband Sam felt what they believed was a clear spiritual impression—they were meant to have another child. What followed seemed divinely guided… until everything suddenly began to fall apart.
Early in her pregnancy, Marla began experiencing dangerous complications, including severe bleeding and placental abruption. Doctors gave her a grim prognosis and warned that she would lose the baby. At multiple points, it seemed like the outcome was already decided.
