[upbeat music] All right. Welcome to the Nintendo Voice Chat live post-show for the Pokémon Presents here on Pokémon Day. Or if you're listening later on audio services or on YouTube, this is our NVC episode for the week. I'm Logan Plant, joined by Casey, Miranda, and Nick, and we just watched the Pokémon Presents, which ended with a big announcement. It was Generation 10 of Pokémon finally revealed.
Casey DeFreitas· Host0:28
Ooh.

Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves coming to Switch 2 in 2027. We'll talk about Fire Red and Leaf Green, Pokémon Pokopia, but we gotta start right there with that Gen 10 trailer. Casey, your first thoughts.

Nick Limon· Host0:54
Very cute.
Logan Plant· Host0:55
Yeah, very cute. I, I like that we saw more than just the starters this time.
Casey DeFreitas· Host0:59
Mm-hmm.

Looks super Wind Waker inspired to me, as a big Zelda fan. Lots of water, island exploration, different biomes. We saw a ton of different Pokémon, and I thought this looked really nice. Like, this is a huge step up from what the games looked like on Nintendo Switch, specifically Scarlet and Violet. Like, the, they even showed a windmill, which famously chugged so poorly- [laughs] [laughs] ... on Scarlet
