4/30/20261 hr 43 min

Welcome back to Stick to Football, brought to you by ARNE.

In this episode, Gary Neville, Jill Scott, Roy Keane and Ian Wright sit down with current USA National team manager Mauricio Pochettino. We open the show with some with myth’s surrounding him, like why does he keep lemons around the dressing room?

We then move on to his current job as the USA national team manager. He discusses his aspirations for the upcoming tournament with his team being the host nation. Does Mauricio believe that his side have the capacity to go all the way?

Mauricio also discusses life as the Paris Saint-Germain boss. Getting the job in 2021, he was tasked with managing some of the biggest personalities in the game like Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappé and Neymar. Pochettino discusses the highs and the lows of having such talent in his squad and the differences between that team to Luis Enrique’s current European champions.

To finish, he opens up on life in London in the Premier League, talking about his time in charge of Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea. With both teams struggling on and off the field, we get an inside perspective from Mauricio to why both clubs are struggling right now.
